The significance of Auckland International Airport to New Zealand’s economy cannot be underestimated.

Located 20km south of the city, the airport handles 75 per cent of all of New Zealand’s incoming international travellers. This translated to 9. 3 million passengers in 2016, an impressive 10. 4 per cent jump on the previous year.
