WA govt intervenes to facilitate Qantas’s nonstop London flights
The WA Premier and Tourism Minister Colin Barnett has been roundly praised by business leaders for his foresight in committing $14 million to help broker a deal between Perth Airport and Qantas to launch non-stop flights to Europe from Perth.
The commitment covers capital works to accommodate infrastructure requirements for Commonwealth border services at the Qantas domestic terminal T3.
