The Australian Aviation Associations Forum (TAAAF)

TAAAF is the umbrella organisation providing a forum for all of Australia’s aviation industry associations to meet regularly on an informal basis to identify and discuss common issues of an operational and regulatory nature. Almost every significant aviation-related association is a member and TAAAF functions on a non-partisan, apolitical basis to advance and promote all Australian aviation interests without in any way impinging on their sectorial independence. It is not the role of TAAAF to advance in the public domain any issues of contention, unless all members are in unanimous agreement that the interests of the industry would be best served by a formal over-arching statement. It is therefore significant that the TAAAF is responding to an increasing number of the minor parties requesting face to face briefings on the TAAAF Aviation Policy. Engineering Training Action Group (ETAG)

The ETAG (RAAA, AMROBA and ALAEA) has had excellent success in progressing the engineering training gridlock. We now have the Federal Department of Education on board as well as CASA. The outcome will be a training package for apprentices that results in an Australian Engineering Licence that meets ICAO standards and is recognised and accepted worldwide.
