Regional carrier FlyPelican is adding a second route from Dubbo with nonstop flights to Canberra starting on January 30.
The services will be operated by 19-seat Jetstream 32 aircraft and run seven times a week, FlyPelican said on Friday.

The airline’s schedules show two flights a day on Mondays and Fridays, with a single return service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
FlyPelican will be the only carrier on the route, but it already serves Dubbo from Newcastle.
“All the boxes are ticked and we are thrilled to be expanding our network to link these cities together,” FlyPelican chief executive Paul Graham said in a statement.
“FlyPelican already have a strong presence in both Canberra and Dubbo with direct flights operating from Newcastle Airport.
“The objective was to ultimately continue and have a seamless service from Newcastle to Dubbo, and then through to Canberra at optimum morning and evening times to support both the business and the leisure markets.”
Although the initial flight schedule only involved weekday services, Graham said FlyPelican there was “potential to introduce a Sunday service if the demand is evident”.
Canberra will be the seventh destination from Dubbo Airport. In addition to FlyPelican’s Newcastle service, Jetgo flies from the central northern NSW city to Brisbane and Melbourne (Essendon), Regional Express serves Cobar, Broken Hill and Sydney, and QantasLink has nonstop flights to Sydney.
