Diamond DA62 DNU is the only new type shown in the New Allocations this issue. Hawker Pacific is the local agent for Diamond Aircraft and will be demonstrating the DA62 around Australia during the life of this issue.
The DA62 is a five to seven-seat twin-engine touring aircraft with a distinctive aerodynamic fuselage and T-tail. It was developed from the single engine DA50 but with two 180hp (135kW) Austro AE300 diesel engines burning Jet-A fuel. Diamond claims a top speed of 201kt and a max range of 1,283nm.
