Pilatus creates its own business jet category with the ‘super versatile’ PC-24

Quietly, purposefully and assuredly, Pilatus is working towards the goal of delivering its first jet aircraft to its expectant customers in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Pilatus is renowned for its single-engined turboprop utility aircraft (PC-6, PC-12), as well as its successful line of single-engine turboprop military pilot trainers (PC-7, PC-9, PC-21). But it has never built a jet before, and, a single prototype of the PC-8 (a twin-engined PC-6) aside, never built a twin.
