BAE Systems takes over Hawk lead-in fighter operational maintenance
BAE Systems Australia has started to provide operational maintenance for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Hawk 127 lead-in fighter fleet in an expansion of its contract for in-service support of the training system.
The company is now the total sustainment provider for the Hawk fleet, managing both deeper and operational maintenance, and delivering all Hawk maintenance support on the flightline at RAAF Base Williamtown and RAAF Base Pearce.
