Airbus embraces technology to improve aircraft production and design

As Airbus prepares to ramp up production on both the narrowbody A320 workhorse and next generation A350 widebody, the company is exploring new ways of working and utilising new technologies to ensure everyone from the factory floor up are best placed to meet the ambitious targets set for the years ahead.

Currently, Airbus pushes out 42 A320 Family aircraft a month from four final assembly lines, with the rate to increase to 60 a month by the middle of 2019.
