Bombardier CSeries makes first passenger flight.
As launch customer Swiss puts the Bombardier CSeries CS100 aircraft into service this month, the newest entrant into the 100-149-seat market is riding a wave of praise from its first passenger flight.
Described as “semi-commercial” by Bombardier – all the approvals for a commercial flight, but without any money changing hands as it showed off its aircraft to Star Alliance CEOs and the assembled media between Dublin and Zürich – Australian Aviation was on board, measuring tape in hand, to test whether Bombardier’s promises of a next generation passenger experience came true.
