Port Augusta airport, South Australia’s “gateway to the Outback” is seeking to boost tourism and Defence work, as it feels the pinch of reduced exploration and mining aviation activity.
The airport, which is owned, operated and maintained by Port Augusta City Council, has experienced mixed fortunes in the past year.
