This issue, while columnist Gordon Reid is on leave in the US, Traffic produces its annual summary of aircraft deliveries and disposals in our region for the six-month halves of the previous financial year.

Jet airliner deliveries July-December 2014

For the six months to December 31 2014 a total of 21 commercial jet aircraft were delivered to operators in our region. This, on top of the 11 aircraft delivered January toJune 2014, brought the total for the calendar year to 32. Commercial jet aircraft deliveries for the years 2009 to 2013 were 32, 47, 66, 51 and 54.
