While the pictures that were beamed around the world from the recently-concluded Avalon Airshow undoubtedly focused on the spectacular flying displays, there was just as much action happening away from the flight line.

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace and Defence Exposition draws big crowds because of the array of historic, military, business and commercial aircraft on static display, as well as the aforementioned flying shows.
