First HATS EC135 takes off

With the ink barely dry on Boeing Defence Australia’s contract with the ADF for the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS), the first EC135 T2+ that will train Army and Navy pilots and aircrew under the program completed its maiden flight on January 16 at Airbus Helicopters’ Donauwörth, Germany facility.
