737-838 VH-VXI departedBrisbane as QF6019 for Seletar on November 14 where on arrival the aircraft was repainted in the current Qantas livery. On November 27 VH-VXI as QF6014 ferried from Seletar to Brisbane and return to service with Qantas.

A380-842 VH-OQH ferried from Manila to Sydney on December 2 after completing planned maintenance with Lufthansa Technik.

747-438 VH-OJT operated QF87 from Sydney to Hong Kong on November 6 before entering the HAECO hangar for planned maintenance. It returned to Qantas service on November 28 when it operated QF128 from Hong Kong to Sydney (arriving November 29).

747-438ER VH-OEI operated QF127 from Sydney to Hong Kong on November 28 and on arrival entered the HAECO hangar for planned maintenance.

A330-202 VH-EBD Traralgon ferried from Hong Kong to Brisbane as QF6006 on November 15 after changing its colour scheme from Jetstar to Qantas. VH-EBD then ferried from Brisbane to Sydney as QF6111 on November 17 before returning to Qantas service on November 18 when it operated QF569 from Sydney to Perth. 767-338ER VH-OGI was withdrawn from service on November 28 after operating QF494 from Melbourne to Sydney.

767-338ER VH-OGS, which was withdrawn from service on October 31 (Traffic/December), had its Qantas titles and kangaroo removed before ferrying as QF6160 on November 10 from Sydney to Alice Springs where it was placed in storage.

737-476 VH-TJL, which has been stored at Victorville since May 15 ’13, was cancelled from the register on December 4 as ‘exported to the USA’ and on December 5 it was registered N939NZ.

737-476 VH-TJX, which has been stored at Victorville since March 6 ’14, was cancelled from the register on December 5.

Jetstar took delivery of A320‑232/S VH-VFY in Melbourne on December 8 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse via Abu Dhabi and Singapore as JQ7992.

A320-232 VH-VQY ferried from Melbourne to Darwin and Seletar as JQ7993 on September 21 for end of lease maintenance.

VH-VQY was cancelled from the register on November 27 as ‘exported to Ireland’.

VH-VQY was delivered to Jetstar in Newcastle on November 22 ’04 and entered service on November 30 when it operated JQ301 from Sydney to Avalon.

A320-232 VH-VQP ferried from Melbourne to Darwin and Singapore as JQ7993 on November 21 for planned maintenance.

Jetstar Hong Kong has found a new owner for A320-232/S (B-KJF) msn 5850 which had been stored at Toulouse. The A320 was registered B-1619 to Tianjin Airlines and delivered to Tianjin on November 6 after ferrying in from Toulouse via Astana, Kazakhstan.

Jetstar Japan was planning to take delivery of A320-232/S JA20JJ msn 6381 in late December.

Network Aviation has sold EMB-120ER VH-NHC to AE Charter Services of Adelaide and on November 14 the Brasilia ferried from Perth to Adelaide.

Airline news

In this issue we report the delivery of a 787-9 to Air New Zealand, an E190-100LR and an RJ85 to Cobham and the departure of a Beech 1900D of Air New Zealand Link/Eagle Airways. Air New Zealand took delivery of its third 787-9, ZK-NZG, at Auckland on December 5 after the aircraft ferried in from Paine Field as NZ6397. ZK-NZG entered service with Air New Zealand on December 8 when it operated NZ119 from Auckland to Sydney.

Air New Zealand commenced 787 operations from Auckland to Narita on December 2 with 787-9 ZK-NZE operating the inaugural NZ99.

737-319 ZK-NGH, which was withdrawn from service on November 5 (Traffic/December), had its Air New Zealand titles and koru removed before it departed Christchurch on November 20 for Cairns, Lombok and Kuala Lumpur (arriving November 21) under ferry with Southern Cross as SXI1431.

ZK-NGH has been sold to Nauru Airlines (see below).

A320-232/S ZK-OJE was painted in the Air New Zealand fern leaf scheme in Christchurch between October 6 and October 25.

Air New Zealand Link/ Eagle Airways withdrew Beech 1900D ZK-EAA from service on September 21 (Traffic/November) and has sold the aircraft inSouth Africa. ZK-EAA was cancelled from the New Zealand register on November 14 and on November 17 it was noted at Hamilton now registered ZS-EAH.

On October 20, with its titles and logo removed, ZS-EAH departed Hamilton for Norfolk Island, Brisbane, Mount Isa, Darwin and Denpasar (arriving November 22).

Air New Zealand Link/ Mount Cook returned ATR 72-500 ZK‑MCB to service on November 10 after the aircraft was painted in the fern leaf colour scheme.

ATR 72-500 ZK-MVC was painted in the fern leaf colour scheme at Christchurch between November 10 and November 17.

Air Niugini has wet leased 767-35DER CS-TRW from euroAtlantic Airways for two months to cover planned maintenance on 767-341ER P2‑PXV and 767-383ER P2‑PXW. As flight MMZ699 CSTRW was delivered to Port Moresby from Singapore on November 29 and entered service on December 3 as PX3 from Port Moresby to Brisbane.

Airwork ferried 737‑3B7 ZK‑FXT into Brisbane from Subang and Darwin onNovember 26 on completion of planned maintenance. While in Subang ZK‑FXT was painted in Toll colours and on December 5 it entered service with Toll as TFR42 from Brisbane to Melbourne.

Cobham took delivery of E190- 100LR D-AEMG at Adelaide on November 9 after the aircraft completed its ferry flight as SXI1429, contracted to Southern Cross, from Maastricht via Penang and Koepang. The E190 was later registered to National Jet Express as VH-NJA on November 26.

RJ85 G-CDYK msn E2329 was delivered to Cobham in Adelaide on December 1 after it ferried in from Cranfield, UK via Lombok, Darwin, Cairns and Brisbane. The RJ85 was registered VH-NJW to National Jet Express on December 4.

Nauru Airlines registered 737‑319 VH-YNU on December 3 with the aircraft previously operated by Air New Zealand as ZK-NGH (see below).

Virgin Group news

A330-243 VH-XFA, which departed Melbourne on August 17 on termination of its lease (Traffic/ October), has been leased to Azulas PR-AIY and on November 8 it departed Singapore for Bordeaux and Belo Horizonte.

A330-243 VH-XFB, which departed Melbourne on September 16 on termination of its lease (Traffic/November), has been leased to Azul as PR-AIX.

A330-243 VH-XFH ferried from Singapore to Perth as VOZ9944 on November 2 on completion of planned maintenance (Traffic/ December).

737-8FE VH-VOM, which has been named Fairhaven Beach, returned to service on November 9 after being painted in Virgin Australia colours in Townsville (Traffic/December).

737-8FE VH-VON, which was painted in Virgin Australia colours in Townsville between November 8 and November 21, has been named Greenmount Point.

737-8FE VH-VOT, which was painted in Virgin Australia colours in Townsville between November 20 and December 3, has been named Scarborough Beach.

737-8FE VH-VUX operated VOZ381 from Brisbane to Townsville on December 2 and on arrival entered the Flying Colourshangar to be repainted in Virgin Australia colours.

E190-100IGW VH-ZPM as VOZ9902 returned to Brisbane on November 22 from Subang and Darwin after completing planned maintenance in Alverca, Portugal.

While in Alverca VH-ZPM was repainted from Pacific Blue to Virgin Australia colours and was named Maroochydore Beach.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines/VARA took delivery of Fokker 100 VH-FZI in Perth on September 5 (Traffic/October) and placed the aircraft into service on November 21 when it operated VOZ1855 from Perth to Kalgoorlie.

Fokker 100 VH-FNN ferriedfrom Perth to Port Hedland and Seletar for planned maintenance as VOZ9994 on October 30.

ATR 72-600 VH-FVR has been grounded at Albury since February 25 with structural damage to its tail following an overstress incident. It was test flown on November 25 and the following day as VOZ951A departed Albury for Alice Springs, Port Hedland and Seletar (arriving November 27) for further maintenance.

VARA commenced ATR services to Melbourne on November 10 with ATR 72-600 VH-FVP operating VOZ262/269 from and to Canberra.

Fokker 50 VH-FNA departed Perth on November 30 as VOZ9990 for Denpasar and Seletar for planned maintenance.

Regional news

In this issue we report the delivery of an ATR 72-600 to Air Tahiti, an ATR 72-500 to Air Vanuatu and a Cessna 208B to Sounds Air, plus the departure of a former Brindabella Airlines Jetstream 41.

Air Caledonie ATR 72‑500 F-OIPN, which had been under maintenance at Seletar since late August, ferried into Noumea on November 30 from Darwin and Cairns.

Airlines PNG was noted to have DHC-6-300s P2-EMO, P2-MCC, P2-MCF, P2-MCR, P2-MCS andP2-MCZ in storage at Port Moresby on November 14. P2-EMO, P2-MCF and P2-MCS were in an overall white colour scheme while P2-MCC, P2-MCR and P2-MCZ still carried Airlines PNG titles.

Air South took delivery of EMB‑120ER VH-NHC from Network Aviation in Adelaide on November 14.

Air Tahiti took delivery of ATR 72-600 F-ORVS at Papeete on November 14 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse via Denpasar, Cairns and Nadi.

Air Vanuatu took delivery of ATR 72-500 YJ-AV71 Betty Emma at Port Vila on November 12 after the aircraft ferried in from Denpasar, Darwin and Cairns as AVM771.

Jetstream 41 N41AX, which was previously registered VH‑TAI and still carried the colours and titles of its former operator BrindabellaAirlines, ferried out of Canberra on November 9 to the Gold Coast, Pago Pago, Honolulu, San Jose and Smyrna, Tennessee.

Sounds Air took delivery of Cessna N771AL at Omaka on November 24 after the aircraft completed its trans-Pacific ferry from Merced, California. The ferry flight was operated by Air Center One of Auckland and routed via Honolulu, Pago Pago and Auckland. Sounds Air registered the aircraft 208B ZK-SAW on December 5.

Wanair ferried Beech 1900D F-OHRX into Cairns from Noumea and Brisbane on November 3 for planned maintenance.

Bizjet news

In this issue we report the delivery of a Gulfstream 650, the return of a Falcon 7X, the delivery of a King Air 350 and the departures of two Falcon 2000EXs, a Hawker 800XP and a Citation II.

Gulfstream 650 N650AB was delivered to Jetflight Air Services at Auckland on December 7 after it flew in from Kahului. The Gulfstream is the second of type to be based in New Zealand and replaces Falcon 2000EX N818BH (see below).

MKAir7X Falcon 7X M-GMKM ex VH-MQK had departed Sydney for Male on July 23 and was thought to have departed the region, but the aircraft has returned to Australia, arriving in Mildura from Male and Adelaide on December 2.

Jetflight Air Services Falcon 2000EX N818BH has been replaced by Gulfstream 650 N650AB with the Falcon 2000EX last noted at Auckland on October 1 when it departed for Honolulu. Ramsay Aircharter Falcon 2000EX VH-RAM was cancelled from the register on November 11 as ‘exported to Belgium’ with the aircraft later registered to Abelag Aviation as OO-PSE. VH-RAM was last reported in our region on April 1 when it departed Cocos Island for Male.

Hawker 800XP VH-MEP, which was operated by Freedom Road Logistics of Tuggerah, NSW has been sold in the US and on November 28 was cancelled from the Australian register. It was subsequently registered N713SC to Southern Cross Aircraft of Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 2.

Shazo Holdings Citation II VHNSB, which departed the Gold Coast for the US on October 15 (Traffic/December), was cancelled from the register on December 1 as ‘exported to the USA’.

Shazo Holdings Citation II VHVBK departed the Gold Coast on November 22 for Mount Isa, Darwin and Manado and en route stops to the United States.

Beechjet 400A VH-EIG changed its registered holder to the Westpac Banking Corporation of Concord West, NSW on November 6.

Citation Ultra VH-WFE changed its registered holder and operator on October 31 to Trump Aviation of Doncaster, Victoria.

Citation Mustang VH-SQY changed its registered holder on September 25 to Aeromil Pacific of Mudjimba, Queensland and its registered operator to Flight Options (Australia) of Mudjimba.

Citation Mustang VH-SQJ changed its registered holder on November 5 to Aeromil Pacific and its registered operator to Flight Options (Australia).

Citation CJ1 VH-DAA changed its registered holder on November 18 to Acena Nominees of Adelaide and its registered operator to Light Jets Australia of Toowoomba, Queensland.

Challenger 604 VH-URR is being operated by the Careflight Group.

Citation M2 N824MT arrived at Bankstown on November 10 from Denpasar, Broome and Alice Springs to start a short demonstration tour of Australia.

On November 11 N824MT departed Bankstown for Albury and Essendon and after overnighting continued to Narrandera, Bankstown and Maroochydore. The Citation M2 then departed Maroochydore on November 14 for Mount Isa, Darwin and Denpasar on the conclusion of its tour.

The following are amendments/ additions to information published in our Bizjets register (AA/December).

Gulfstream IV VH-TXS which is registered to Revesco Aviation of Perth was omitted from the listing; Citation Bravo VH-HVM was incorrectly shown as a Citation II and Citation S/II VH-JMM was incorrectly shown as a Citation II.

Westwind II ZK-PJA is operated by Pacific Jets of Auckland as is Citation CJ4 VH-PGA while Citation III N163JM is operated by Corporate Flight Services of Wellington.

In propjet news King Air 350 N5039E msn FL-939 arrived at Cairns on November 8 from Halim and Broome on termination of its delivery flight from the US. N5039E, which was ferried by Rangeflyers, had departed Wichita on November 1 for Bangor, Goose Bay and Keflavik (arriving November 2). The King Air 350 was registered VH‑SQR to Hawker Pacific on December 5.

King Air B200 VH-LNK, ex NZ1885 of the RNZAF, was registered to Eastern Air Services of Port Macquarie on November 28.

VH-LNK departed Hamilton on December 4 for Kerikeri, Lord Howe Island, the Gold Coast and Port Macquarie where it arrived on December 6.

Penske Racing Gulfstream 550 N1RP arrived in Brisbane from Honolulu on November 2. It later visited Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney before departing Brisbane for Auckland on November 7.

MS Financing Gulfstream 550 N168NJ arrived in Melbourne from Honolulu on November 8 before continuing to Sydney on November 10. N168NJ departed Sydney for Seletar on November 12.

Gulfstream 550 N185GA arrived in Perth from Halim on November 2 and departed to Dubai on November 12.

Millrock Aviation Financial Gulfstream 550 N451GV arrived in Sydney from Delhi on November 6 and after overnighting continued to Melbourne.

Arrow Plane Gulfstream 550 N528AP arrived in Sydney from Honolulu on November 17 and after overnighting returned to Honolulu.

Chevron USA Gulfstream 550 N5092 arrived in Perth from Kuwait on November 5 before departing for Port Hedland on November 7. N5092 departed Port Hedland for Honolulu on November 8.

Tianjin Aviation Gulfstream 550 B-8258 arrived at Melbourne from Auckland on November 21 and after overnighting departed to Macau.

AS Aviation Holdings Gulfstream IV N716AS arrived at the Gold Coast from Koror on November 11 and later visited Essendon and Sydney before returning to the Gold Coast on November 30.

National Air Services Gulfstream IV HZ-103 arrived in Brisbane from Singapore and Kupang on November 4 and departed to Darwin and Singapore on November 7. HZ-103 arrived at Darwin from Singapore on November 12 before returning there on November 15.

Overseas bizjets

Global Express N65XC arrived at the Gold Coast from Kolkata on November 6 and continued to Sydney on November 8. N65XC departed Sydney for Honolulu on November 9.

Tashi Corporation Global Express N365CJ arrived in Sydney from Kona on November 11. It later visited Gladstone, Cairns and Hamilton Island before departing Sydney for Kona on November 23.

Global Aviation Global Express N700HM arrived at Essendon from Honolulu on November 12 and departed to Hong Kong on November 17.

Williams-Sonoma Stores Global Express N878HL arrived in Sydney from Honolulu on November 8 before continuing to Essendon on November 11. It returned to Sydney on November 12 before departing on November 13.

Global Express N923SG arrived in Cairns from Honolulu on December 2.

VistaJet Global Express 9H-VJA VJT821P arrived in Sydney from Subang on November 7 and after overnighting departed to Singapore.

VistaJet Global Express 9H-VTA as VJT738Y arrived in Sydney from Haneda on March 16 before continuing to Hong Kong the following day.

Global 5000 VP-CCK arrived in Cairns from Hong Kong on November 24 and after overnighting continued to Melbourne. It departed Melbourne in the early hours ofNovember 28 for Hong Kong.

Reliance Worldwide Challenger 601-3A N23SB, which had been in Australia since September 13 (Traffic/November), finally departed Brisbane for Nadi on December 3.

TP Aviation Falcon 7X N817X arrived in Melbourne from Taipei on December 4.

Falcon 7X B-8026 as flight CWR601 arrived in Brisbane from Chengdu on November 29 before returning there on December 2.

CAT Aviation Falcon 7X HB‑JST as ‘CAZ701’ arrived in Brisbane from Noumea on November 17 and the same day continued to Murrin Murrin. After overnighting it departed to Perth and Colombo.

Air Alsie Asia Pacific Falcon 7X OY-TSS MMD3229 arrived in Brisbane from Subang on November 11 and after overnighting continued to Perth. It departed Perth for Subang on November 18.

Jeshing Falcon 7X VP-CJS as TBJ71 arrived at Essendon from Shanghai on November 14. The Falcon operated a return flight to Hobart on November 17/18 before departing Essendon for Auckland on November 21.

Aerolineas Del Pacifico Falcon 900B RP-C9121 arrived in Sydney from Seletar and Darwin on November 28 and departed to Darwin and Manila on December 2.

Aerolineas Del Pacifico Falcon 2000LX RP-C9215, which had arrived in Sydney from Manila on October 23 (Traffic/December), later visited Essendon and Scone before departing Mudgee for Darwin and Manila on November 18.

Indonesia Air Transport ERJ‑135BJ Legacy 600 PK-TFS arrived in Sydney from Kupang on November 9 before returning to Kupang on November 12.

Ferry flights

AT-802A N212FB, which carried the marks Fire/852, arrived at the Gold Coast from the US on November 7. The ferry was operated by SRD Aviation and crossed the Pacific from Santa Maria, California via Honolulu, Christmas Island, Pago Pago and Norfolk Island. On arrival at the Gold Coast the AT-802A was registered VH‑XBZ to Pays Air Services before it continued to Scone.

AT-802F VH-YRY, which was registered to AGA Airwork on November 12, was delivered to Stawell, Victoria on November 24. The ferry flight, which was operated by SRD Aviation, originated in Valencia, Spain with the AT-802F routed via Malta, Luxor, Colombo, Cocos and Broome.

AT-802A VH-ZJZ was registered to AGA Services on November 20 and delivered to Stawell on November 26 from Valencia via Colombo, Cocos and Broome.

T-6C Texan IIs N2841B, N2846B and N2847B arrived at Ohakea on delivery to the RNZAF on November 28 from Denpasar, Darwin, Cairns, the Gold Coast and Norfolk Island. The three T-6Cs were later allocated the serial numbers NZ1403, NZ1406 and NZ1407 respectively.

Beech G36 N8094S arrived in Cairns on November 14 after completing its Pacific crossing from Santa Maria via Hilo, Pago Pago and Port Vila.

Beech A36 VH-RKP, which had been sold in New Zealand, departed Bankstown on November 27 for Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and Auckland where it arrived on November 29.

Diamond DA 42NG VH‑VMX departed the Gold Coast for Norfolk Island and Auckland where it arrived on November 7. After being demonstrated in New Zealand it departed Auckland on November 19 for Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island and Bankstown (arriving November 21).

Cessna 208B N95EL 208B1169 arrived at Taupo on November 26 from Hollister, California via Hilo, Pago Pago and Auckland and on December 3 it was registered ZK-JMP to Tandem Skydiving of Taupo.

Cessna 421C VH-RKI departed Camden on December 3 for Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island and after overnighting continued to Auckland and Paraparaumu.

Cessna 402B VH-SVQ departed Lord Howe Island for Norfolk Island and Auckland on December 7.

Cessna 180K N6TK (Traffic/December) continued its round-the-world flight on December 4 when it flew from Birdsville to Alice Springs before continuing to Tennant Creek on December 7.

Cirrus SR22 N791SR arrived at the Gold Coast on November 7 from Honolulu and Pago Pago.

Starlite Aviation Super Puma ZS-RTS ferried from Coen to Cairns and Townsville on November 21 and from Gladstone to Brisbane on November 22.

Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation GA-8 VH-FCK departed Essendon direct to Queenstown on December 5.

PAC 750XL B-067L msn 195 ex ZK-KNN and PAC 750XL ZK‑KNL msn 193 were displayed at the Zhuhai Airshow on November 17.

PA-30 Twin Comanche N8181Y arrived in Cairns from Noumea/Magenta on November 14 before continuing to Darwin and Denpasar, where it arrived on November 16.

TBM 900 VH-LZJ departed Jandakot on November 30 for Broome and Denpasar (arriving December 1) Tecnam P2006T VH-OBZ departed Tamworth for Bankstown on November 17 and the following day crossed the Tasman to Auckland via Lord Howe Island. Heavy metal Air Tahiti Nui A340-313X F-OJTN operated the first of a series of flights from Australia to the Middle East in this period. F-OJTN as THT1701 arrived in Sydney from Papeete on November 25 before continuing the same day as ASY 30 to Brisbane, Darwin and al Minhad.

Volga-Dnepr An-124 RA‑82046 VDA2426 arrived at RAAF Curtin from Kolkata and Darwin on November 10 before operating VDA2427 to Darwin and Cairns. The An-124 then operated two flights out of Rockhampton to Cairns and Paya Lebar on November 20 and November 24.

Ukraine Air Alliance An-12BK UR-CAJ as flight UKL4099 arrived in Broome from Surabaja and Darwin on November 17 carrying a load of mining equipment. It departed Broome for Surabaya as UKL4098 on November 18.

euroAtlantic 767-383ER CS-TLO as MMZ969 arrived in Sydney from Papeete on November 26 and departed to Yogyakarta on November 28.

USAF/AFRC KC-135R 58-0102 Reach 467, which carries a Tinker tail band, arrived in Cairns from Hickam AFB on December 6.

Thomson 757-28A/W G-OOBF as flight TOM973 arrived in Cairns from Apia on November 7 and departed to Siem Reap on November 9.

Aquis 757-23A/W VQ-BTF, which has been in the country except for a few days since September 17, departed Brisbane for Alice Springs on November 5. It remained in Alice Springs until November 26 when it again returned to Brisbane.

Royal Jet 737-7Z5/BBJ A6-AIN as flight ROJ03 arrived in Canberra from Singapore on November 16 and after overnighting departed to Suva. It transited Brisbane on November 19 while en route from Wellington to Singapore.

Gama Aviation 737-7BJ/BBJ VP-BBW arrived at Maroochydore from Kona and Brisbane on November 23 and remained there until November 29 when it departed to Brisbane and Hilo.

United States of America 737-7DM/C-40C 05-0730 Spar 17 arrived in Canberra from Queenstown on November 23 and continued to Richmond on November 26.

United States of America 737-7DM/C-40B 01-0040 SAM624 arrived in Canberra from Pago Pago on November 4. The C-40B operated a return flight to RAAF Edinburgh on November 6 before departing to Guam on November 7.

Indian Air Force 737-7HJ/BBJ K-5014 Rajkamal as flight IFC54 arrived in Melbourne from Denpasar on November 16 and departed to Suva on November 18. It transited Cairns on November 20 while en route from Suva to Singapore.

US Air Force/SOC C-146A/Dornier 328-100 11-3097 Magma 4 arrived in Port Hedland from Denpasar on December 6 and later visited Perth, Adelaide and Sydney.

Safair Lockheed 382 ZS-CIV as SFR518 departed Christchurch for Adelaide on December 5 before continuing the following day to Cocos Island.

Fire attack

The 2014/15 bushfire season has seen the arrival from overseas of a number of fire attack aircraft.

Conair RJ85 N355AC/162 arrived at Avalon on December 7 after ferrying in from Abbotsford/BC via Oakland, Honolulu, Majuro, Honiara and Cairns.

Coulson Lockheed EC-130Q N130FF/131 arrived at Avalon on December 8 from Victoria/BC via Honolulu, Majuro, Honiara and Melbourne.

Erickson S-64E N194AC/747 Delilah arrived at Essendon from the Melbourne docks on November 30. By December 10 it was carrying Kestrel titles and had become HT341 (Helitak 341).

Erickson S-64E N217AC/740 Malcolm arrived at Essendon from the Melbourne docks on December 7 before continuing to its base at Ballarat on December 9. N217AC was later noted with Kestrel titles and marked as HT342 (Helitak 342).

Erickson S-64E N154AC Georgia Peach was planned to arrive in Fremantle by ship from Melbourne by mid-December.

Coulson S-61N C-FIRX/347 arrived at Essendon by road from the Melbourne docks on December 8, while Coulson S-61N C-FCLM, which has spent the winter stored at Essendon, was being prepared for fire attack duties in late November.
