For most Australians who grew up in the 1980s, Ethiopia was more closely associated with war and famine than vacation, but for Geoff Hucker, the east African country had always been a source of fascination.

Inspired as a boy by stories of Solomon and Sheba, the longtime aviator made his first visit in 2000 while based in Dubai as a pilot for Emirates Airline.
