Qantas took delivery of 737-838 VH-XZA Leeton in Melbourne on August 24 after the aircraft completed ferry flight QF6024 from Boeing Field via Honolulu and Nadi.

VH-XZA entered service with Qantas on September 4 when it operated QF604 from Melbourne to Brisbane.

747-438 VH-OJG was withdrawn from Qantas service on July 18 in Sydney after operating QF64/17 from Johannesburg. VH-OJG had its Qantas titles and kangaroo removed before departing Sydney for Marana, Arizona as QF6020 on August 21.

VH-OJG City of Hobart was delivered to Qantas in Sydney on August 18 ’90 after operat72 ing the first non-stop commercial flight QF7447 from Vancouver to Sydney.

747-438 VH-OJU, which had special decals applied and was named Spirit of the Olympic Team, brought the Australian Olympic team back to Australia on August 15. After application of the decals VH-OJU operated QF15 from Brisbane to Los Angeles and QF107 to New York on August 12 before ferrying to Stansted, England as QF6008.

With the Olympic team on board VH-OJU departed Stansted on August 14 for Bangkok and Sydney as QF6058.

747-438ER VH-OEF, which had been at Avalon for maintenance since July 2, departed there on August 12 as QF6023 to Xiamen. VHOEF returned to Sydney from Xiamen on September 2 as QF6024 now carrying the new Qantas corporate colour scheme and oneworld titles.

737-476 VH-TJU, which was stored at Victorville, California was cancelled from

the register on August 27 as ‘sold in South Africa’. In effect the aircraft was placed on the US register as N119BT on August 28 and the following day ferried from Victorville to Miami. There it is being converted to a 737-400SF by AEI Aeronautical Engineers for the ASL Aviation Group.

737-476 VH-TJO, which ferried from Victorville to Miami as N116BT on June 10 (Traffic/August), is also being converted to a freighter by AEI Aeronautical Engineers for the ASL Aviation Group.

737-476 VH-TJH, which remains in service with Qantas as of August 31, will also be converted to a freighter for the ASL Aviation Group.

Jetstar took delivery of A320-232 VH-VFH msn 5211 at Melbourne on July 21 after the aircraft ferried in from Toulouse via Muscat and Singapore as JQ7992. VH-VFH entered service on August 28 when it operated JQ735 from Melbourne to Launceston.

A320-232 VH-VFI

msn 5270 was registered to Jetstar on August 23.

A320-232 VH-VQR was noted in late August carrying decals ‘Welcome Home New Zealand Olympic Team’.

Jetstar Japan added a fourth A320-232 to its fleet in this period with A320-232 JA04JJ msn 5245 departing Toulouse for Muscat on August 8 and onwards delivery to Narita.

JA04JJ entered service on August 16 when it operated GK135 from Narita to Okinawa.

Jetstar Pacific has taken delivery of two A320-232s previously operated by Tiger Airways out of Singapore.

A320-232 VN-A555 ex 9VTAC of Tiger was noted at Singapore on August 12 while A320-232 VN-A556 ex 9VTAD of Tiger was delivered from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City on August 21.

Network Aviation took delivery of Fokker 100 VH-NHK at Perth on July 29 after the aircraft, which was ferried by Southern Cross Aviation as SXI 1251, arrived from Halim.

QantasLink took delivery of Dash 8-Q402 C-GNZW msn 4414 in Canberra on July 27 after the aircraft ferried in from Saipan, Port Moresby and Cairns. Later registered VH-LQJ the Q402 entered service on August 14 when it operated QF1472 from Canberra to Sydney.

Dash 8-Q402 C-GOAO msn 4415 was delivered to QantasLink in Canberra on August 3 after the aircraft arrived from Saipan, Port Moresby and Cairns. Later registered VH-LQK the Q402 entered service on August 24 when it operated QF1460 from Canberra to Sydney.

Dash 8-Q315 VH-SBJ, which has been operating in Western Australia with Cobham, has terminated its lease and returned to service with QantasLink. On July 8 VH-SBJ ferried from Perth to Kalgoorlie and Adelaide where the aircraft was repainted in QantasLink colours. It departed Adelaide for Sydney as QF6713 on August 2 and returned to QantasLink service on August 7 when it operated QF2018 from Sydney to Armidale.

Dash 8-315 VH-SBG was painted in the new Qantas colours in Townsville between August 6 and August 23.

Airline News

In this issue we report the delivery of a 737-700 to Air Niugini, a 737-300 to Airwork, a BAe 146-300/RJ100 to Cobham, an A320 to Tiger and a Fokker 50 to Alliance, while departing was a BAe 146-300/ RJ100 of Cobham.

Air Caledonie A320-232 F-OJSB as ACI980 transited Darwin on August 21 while en route from Noumea to Hong Kong for planned maintenance.

F-OJSB as ACI981 returned south thru Darwin on August 30 while en route from Hong Kong to Noumea.

Air New Zealand 737-3U3 ZK-NGF was noted being scrapped at Christchurch in early August.

Air Niugini took delivery of 737-7L9 P2-PXD in Port Moresby on July 11 after the

aircraft ferried in from Kuala Lumpur as PX6393. P2-PXD is the first of type in the Air Niugini fleet, entering service on July 16 when it operated PX16 from Port Moresby to Cebu. The 737 carries a special colour scheme commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Kokoda conflict and made its first visit to Australia on July 20 when it operated PX1 from Port Moresby to Sydney.

Airwork 737-376 YR-BAC returned to Auckland on July 21 on termination of its lease to Blue Air. The all-white 737-376, which was operating as JOR001, ferried from Bucharest to Auckland via Karachi, U’Tapao, Denpasar and Brisbane. On August 7 the 737 reverted to its former registration of ZK-SLA.

Alliance 737-476 ZK-JTQ, which has been operating FIFO flights from Perth, was due to return to Auckland for maintenance in September.

During its five week absence Airwork 737-376 ZK-SLA will cover the operations of ZK-JTQ out of Perth.

Alliance took delivery of Fokker 50 OO-VLV in Adelaide on July 29 after the former Cityjet aircraft completed its ferry flight from Maastricht, Holland via Trabzon, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang, Denpasar and Darwin.

The ferry flight was operated by Southern Cross International as SXI 1252. The Fokker 50 was registered VH-FKO to Alliance on August 16.

Cobham took delivery of BAe 146-300/RJ100 G-BXAS at Adelaide on August 1 after the aircraft ferried in from Darwin. The BAe 146-300/RJ100 was later registered VH-NJH on August 9.

BAe 146-300/RJ100 VH-NBU departed Perth for Pondok Cabe via Port Hedland and Halim on July 13 on export to Indonesia.

JetGo was planning to take delivery of EMB-135LR VH-JGB in October.

Skytraders A319-115(LR) VH-VHD operated an out-ofseason flight to the South Pole in this period to operate a medevac flight to Christchurch. On August 8 VH-VHD positioned from Hobart to Christchurch and after overnighting operated a return flight to Pegasus Field before it returned to Hobart and Melbourne.

Tiger Airways took delivery of A320-232 VH-VNQ at Melbourne on August 13 after the aircraft ferried in from Singapore as TGW8163.

VH-VNQ entered service on August 19 when it operated TGW576 from Melbourne to Sydney.

Virgin Australia Group News

It has been a busy time for Virgin Australia fleet movements with the delivery of five 737-800s and its first ATR 72-600, and the departures of a 737-800 and two 737-700s.

737-8FE VH-YIJ Pennington Bay was delivered to Virgin Australia in Brisbane on July 20 after the aircraft completed ferry flight DJ9902 from Boeing Field via Lihue and Nadi. VH-YIJ entered service on July 31 when it operated DJ1398 from Brisbane to Adelaide.

737-8FE VH-YIM Bridgwater Bay was delivered to Brisbane on July 27 after the aircraft completed ferry flight DJ9882 from Boeing Field via Lihue and Nadi. VH-YIM entered service on August 5 when it operated DJ920 from Brisbane to Sydney.

737-8FE VH-YIL Seventy Five Mile Beach was delivered to Brisbane on August 1 after completing ferry flight DJ9882 from Boeing Field via Lihue and Nadi. VH-YIL entered service on August 13 when it operated DJ924 from Brisbane to Sydney.

737-8FE VH-YIO Lameroo Beach was delivered to Brisbane on August 8 after the aircraft completed ferry flight DJ9882 from Boeing Field via Lihue and Nadi. VH-YIO entered service on August 18 when it operated DJ613 from Brisbane to Mackay.

737-8FE VH-YIQ Hyams Beach was delivered to Brisbane on August 28 after completing ferry flight DJ9882 from Boeing Field via Lihue and Nadi.

737-8FE VH-YIR was planned for delivery to Virgin Australia in early September.

737-8FE VH-YFJ Surfers Paradise Beach, which was delivered on July 1 (Traffic/August), entered service on July 10 when it operated DJ601 from Brisbane to Mackay.

737-8BK VH-VOD was withdrawn from service on August 4 after operating DJ973 from Sydney to Brisbane.

VH-VOD ferried out of Brisbane direct to Kuala Lumpur/ Subang as DJ9883 on August 7 for end of lease maintenance.

VH-VOD Blue Moon was delivered to Virgin Blue in Brisbane on August 16 ’02 and entered service on September 7 as DJ306 from Brisbane to Melbourne.

737-7BX VH-VBP was withdrawn from service on July 6 after operating DJ993 from Sydney to Brisbane.

VH-VBP ferried out of Brisbane for Darwin as DJ9082 on July 9 and after overnighting continued to Subang for end of lease maintenance.

VH-VBP D’eja Blue was delivered to Brisbane on September 6 ’02 and entered service on September 16 as DJ807 from Melbourne to Sydney.

737-76N VH-VBO was withdrawn from service on August 11 after operating DJ353 from Melbourne to Brisbane. VH-VBO ferried out of Brisbane for Darwin as DJ9883 on August 13 and after overnighting continued to Shanghai/Pudong for end of lease maintenance. VH-VBO Tropical Temptress was delivered to Brisbane on November 20 ‘02 and entered service on November 22 as DJ306 from Brisbane to Melbourne.

A330-243 VH-XFA departed Melbourne on July 15 as flight DJ9939 to Subang where the aircraft was planned for maintenance. On completion VH-XFA ferried from Subang to Brisbane on August 9.

A330-243 VH-XFB departed Melbourne on August 10 as flight DJ9939 to Subang for planned maintenance.

Virgin Australia took delivery of its first ATR 72-600, VH-FVP msn 1025, in Perth on August 7 after the aircraft arrived from Toulouse via Alexandria, Al Ain, Nagpur, Penang and Halim. The ferry was contracted to Southern Cross International with the flight operating as SXI 1257.

On August 18 VH-FVP continued its ferry to Kalgoorlie and Brisbane.

The second Virgin Australia ATR 72-600, VH-FVN msn 1039, was registered on July 18.

Regional Airline News

In this period we report the delivery of a Saab 340B+ to Vincent Aviation, a Viking DHC-6-400 to OK Tedi, a PAC 750XL to Niugini Aviation and a Cessna 208B to West Wing Aviation, while departing was an Airlines PNG ATR 72-500.

Airlines PNG has terminated its lease of the Berjaya Air ATR 72-500 9M-TAQ with the aircraft ferrying out of Cairns to Kupang on August 17. The ATR 72-500 entered service with Airlines PNG on the Cairns to Lihir Island route on August 11 ’10 and operated its final service on August 15 from Lihir Island to Cairns.

Central Aviation PAC 750XL P2-BWC ferried from Hamilton to Mount Hagen between August 23 and August 30 with the aircraft routed via Ardmore, Kerikeri, Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Cairns and Horn Island.

Chathams Pacific Metro III ZK-CIC, which arrived at Auckland from Fua’amotu, Tonga on August 18, was noted to be carrying its titles. ZK-CIC later departed Auckland for Fua’amotu on August 20.

Inflite Charters is a new charter operator in New Zealand set up by Airwork and Air National. Jetstream 32 ZK-ECI was noted carrying its colours and titles at Auckland on August 24.

Niugini Aviation took delivery of PAC 750XL P2-RNA msn 184 at Port Moresby on August 8 after the aircraft completed its ferry flight from Taupo via Kerikeri, Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, Toowoomba, Mackay and Cairns.

OK Tedi’s second Viking DHC-6-400 C-GVAQ msn 859 was delivered to Cairns from Davao and Darwin on August 15 and it is reported that the DHC-6-400 will be re-registered P2-BFW with OK Tedi.

Vincent Aviation took delivery of Saab 340B+ VH-VNX msn 340B-408 at Darwin in the early hours of August 6 after the aircraft, which was operating as ‘Saab 247’, arrived from Nashville via Lake Havasu City/Arizona, Hilo and Majuro.

Vincent Aviation is planning to take delivery of Saab 340B+ VH-VNY msn 340B-421 later this year.

Saab 340B ZK-VAA, which carried the colours of Timor Air, was noted at Darwin on August 3 now in an all-white colour scheme. However, by the time this is read it will again be in the colours of Vincent Aviation.

West Wing Aviation took delivery of Cessna 208B VH-XDU msn 208B2113 at Cairns on August 18 after the aircraft ferried in from Majuro.

Bizjet News

In this issue we report the delivery of a Gulfstream IV, Challenger 605, Challenger 604 and a Citation III, while a Challenger 604 has been registered. Departing overseas was a Citation Mustang.

Gulfstream IV VH-TXS was registered to Revesco Aviation of Cloisters Square, WA on July 13 and on August 13 it arrived at Essendon from Noumea. VH-TXS continued to its Perth base from Essendon on August 20.

Challenger 605 VH-LVH, which was registered to Cape York Airlines of Stratford, Queensland on June 29 (Traffic/August), arrived in Perth from Seletar on August 17 before it continued to Essendon on August 19. The registered holder of VH-LVH was changed to Dulcie Ltd of Singapore on July 27.

Challenger 604 VH-VSZ msn 5411 was registered on July 11 with the holder Nonah P/L of Hunter’s Hill, NSW and the operator Sundyne P/L of Auburn, NSW. The holder was later changed to Capital Finance Australia of Sydney on July 24.

Citation III N163JM msn 650-0163 was delivered to Ardmore on August 22 after the aircraft completed its transPacific crossing from Portland, Oregon via Anchorage, Adak, Midway, Majuro, Port Vila and Auckland. The Citation, which reportedly will take up residence at Paraparaumu, will remain on the US register.

Citation II VH-FYP, which was delivered to Bankstown on June 13 as N550CA (Traffic/ August), was registered on July 6 with the holder being Hope Estate Events of Pokolbin, NSW and the operator Skypac Aviation of Mascot, NSW.

Pacific Jets Citation Mustang ZK-PGA was cancelled from the register on July 16 on its sale in the US and on July 20 it was registered

N533VP to Cessna Aircraft at Wichita. ZK-PGA had earlier departed Auckland on June 19 (Traffic/August).

King Air Fleet Update

Movements in the local King Air fleet continue apace and in this issue we report the delivery of a King Air 350i and a King Air B200 and a departing King Air B200C.

King Air 350i D-CAUB msn FL-779 was delivered to Brisbane on July 20 after the aircraft ferried in from Denpasar, Darwin and Toowoomba.

It was registered VH-FIZ on August 8 with Aeropearl of Hamilton Central, Queensland being the holder and Pearl Aviation Australia of Darwin being the operator.

King Air 350 VH-NDT msn FL-362 was registered to Nitro Aviation of Coolum Beach, Queensland on July 6.

This aircraft was imported into Australia as N270AB on June 28 (Traffic/August).

RFDS/Queensland King Air B200 VH-FDO BB-1056 was cancelled from the register on August 29 as ‘sold overseas’ and on August 31 it was registered N478GD to Dodson International Parts Inc of Rantoul, Kansas.

King Air B200 VH-LKR msn BB-1087 which was previously operated by the RNZAF as NZ1883 was registered to Formula Aircraft P/L of Jandakot on August 3. VH-LKR was ferried from Hamilton to Jandakot on August 13/14 via Lord Howe Island, Gold Coast, Broken Hill and Forrest.

King Air B200 ZK-KHP msn BB-1487 was noted flying at Ardmore on August 24 now carrying Royal New Zealand Air Force colours and the serial NZ7121.

King Air B200 VH-ZCI msn BB-1875 was delivered to Careflight in Darwin on July 20 after it ferried in from Cairns in its new white, yellow and blue colour scheme.

King Air B200 VH-NZE msn BB-1944, which was delivered to Bankstown on June 16 as N660WM (Traffic/August), was registered to Hawker Pacific NZ of Ardmore on July 4.

King Air B200 ZK-MHP msn BB-1945 was noted at Ardmore on September 4 in a corporate colour scheme but with the addition of RNZAF titles and the dual registration serial ZK-MHP/NZ7123.

King Air B200 VH-NZF msn BB-1949, which was delivered to Bankstown on June 16 as N660AA (Traffic/August), was registered to Hawker Pacific NZ of Ardmore on July 4.

VH-NZF, which is destined for the Royal New Zealand Air Force, departed Bankstown for Sydney and Hamilton on August 21. VH-NZF was cancelled from the register on August 31 and the same day was allocated ZK-DHP but this was changed to ZK-PHP.

The King Air was noted at Ardmore on September 4 in RNZAF colours and titles and carrying the dual registration/ serial ZK-PNP/NZ7124.

King Air B200 N987KA msn BB-1987 was delivered to Essendon on August 17 after completing its ferry flight from the US via Denpasar, Darwin and Alice Springs. N987KA carries the attractive white, yellow and blue colour scheme recently adopted by Careflight NT.

RFDS King Air B200C VH-MSU was cancelled from the register on July 16 when

sold in the US. Registered N48Q to Dynamic Avlease of Bridgewater, Virginia the King Air B200 departed Essendon to the Gold Coast on July 24 before continuing on July 26 to Port Vila, Pago Pago, Christmas Island and Honolulu.

King Air C90 VH-SAM, which is registered to Silvery City Air Charter of Broken Hill, changed its registration to VH-MWF on August 6.

PC-12/47E VH-TCP msn 1352 which was registered to Agile Aviation of Kensington Park, South Australia on July 31, arrived in Adelaide on September 2 after ferrying in from Denpasar and Broome.

PA-31T OM-VIP, which was ferried by Windward Aviation, arrived at Bacchus Marsh from Alice Springs on July 25.

Banc of America Leasing Gulfstream 550 N551CS arrived in Sydney from Honolulu on August 13.

Aramco Gulfstream 550 N595A arrived at Hobart from Kuala Lumpur on August 15 before continuing the same day to Melbourne. N595A

remained in Melbourne until September 1 when it departed for Sydney and after overnighting continued to Auckland.

Chevron USA Gulfstream 550 N816MG arrived in Perth on August 9 before continuing to Canberra on August 13.

N816MG departed Canberra for Honolulu on August 14.

ALA Services Gulfstream 550 N860AA arrived in Melbourne on August 2 and departed to Papeete on August 3.

Gulfstream 550 XA-EAJ arrived in Brisbane from Rotorua and Port Moresby on August 3.

SAS Institute 737-7BC/BBJ N7600K arrived in Melbourne on July 22 before departing to Canberra on July 23. After overnighting N7600K continued to Sydney on July 24 from where it departed for Wellington on July 26.

Metrojet BBJ/737-7EI B-LEX arrived in Sydney from Hong Kong and Brisbane on July 25.

Ferry Flights.

CT-4A ZK-CTA departed Kerikeri for Norfolk Island on August 14 and after overnighting continued to Lord Howe Island and the Gold Coast.

AT-802A N802MP msn 358 arrived at the Gold Coast on July 10 from Santa Maria, Honolulu, Majuro and Honiara.

After clearing customs the AT-802A, which was ferried by SRD Aviation of Albury, continued to Moree and delivery to local operator AgForce.

AT-802A N8520L msn 463 arrived at the Gold Coast on July 31 after completing its trans-Pacific ferry from Santa Maria via Honolulu, Majuro and Honira. After clearing customs the AT-802A, which was ferried by SRD Aviation, continued to Albury.

Cessna 172P 5W-RJO, which was on delivery to Samoa Air, departed Archerfield for the Gold Coast on August 27.

The Cessna 172P, which was previously registered VH-DBG, departed the Gold Coast on August 29 for Noumea/Magenta, Nadi and Apia.

Cirrus SR22 N387DM arrived at Moorabbin on August 14 from Hilo, Pago Pago, Noumea and the Gold Coast.

Fugro Airborne Surveys DA-42 VH-FGO arrived at Archerfield on August 9 after crossing the Tasman from Kerikeri via Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island.

Grumman Mallard N611DS arrived at Archerfield on July 30 after crossing the Pacific from Hollister/California via Hilo, Christmas Island, Pago Pago, Norfolk Island and the Gold Coast (see photo in Warbirds in this issue).

PAC 750XL ZK-KBU msn 183, which was on delivery to an operator in West Papua, ferried from Hamilton to Cairns via Kerikeri, Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, Gold Coast and Mackay between August 28 and August 30.

PAC 750XL ZK-KBN msn 176 ferried from Kerikeri to Horn Island via Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, Toowoomba, Mackay and Cairns between August 29 and September 3.

PA-31-325 N27287 31-7712075, which is a Colemill Panther conversion, arrived at Ardmore on August 17 from Hollister via Hilo, Christmas Island and Pago Pago. The PA-31 was later registered ZK-SRC to Air Gisborne on August 23.

PA-46-310P N9099Z, which has been touring Australia since early June (Traffic/August), departed the Gold Coast for Norfolk Island on August 14 and after overnighting continued to Auckland.

Aerostar 600 N154DD registered to Cumberland Aircraft Sales of Nashville arrived at

Camden from Santa Maria via Hilo, Christmas Island, Pago Pago, Norfolk Island, Newcastle and Sydney on July 18.

Baron 58 N532TM registered to Southern Wings Aircraft Sales of Bethany, Oklahoma arrived at the Gold Coast on August 28 after completing its trans-Pacific ferry from Hollister/California via Hilo, Christmas Island, Pago Pago and Norfolk Island. After clearing customs at the Gold Coast N532TM continued its ferry to Archerfield.

Duchess VH-MLM has been exported to New Zealand and on July 17 departed Port Macquarie for Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and Kerikeri where it arrived on July 18.

Vulcanair P-68C-TC VH-EPF, which was registered to Strong Engineering Consulting of Berwick, Victoria on April 17, arrived at Moorabbin in the early hours of September 3 after ferrying in from Denpasar, Broome and Alice Springs.

Vulcanair P-68C VH-TAV, which was registered to Avia Aircraft of Moorabbin on June 27, arrived at Moorabbin on August 9 after completing its ferry flight from Europe via Denpasar, Broome and Alice Springs.

USA 2012

In July/August I spent six weeks driving across America from Los Angeles to Washington DC and return and in that time I spent six days at EAA AirVenture 2012 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin plus I visited over 100 airfields. Among the hundreds of aircraft noted and photographed were a number that have had an association with Australia and New Zealand.

On July 10 I visited Camarillo, California and there noted Convair 240 N396CG which was operated by Trans Australia Airlines as VH-TAS. Unfortunately the aircraft was in a dismantled state, but I understand there are plans to move it to a museum.

Among the rows of stored aircraft at Victorville, California on July 11 were Qantas 747-400s VH-OJB, OJF, OJN, OJO and OJP and 737-400s TJF, TJU and TJW.

Erickson Air-Crane S-64E N164AC Incredible Hulk, which was based in Australia last summer, was noted at Mesquite, Nevada on July 14.

PAC 750XL N750SD was noted working for Milwaukee Skydive out of East Troy, Wisconsin on July 21.

Hartford, Wisconsin was visited on July 22 and I was pleased to find Air Cargo Carriers Short 360-300 N764JR which was the former VH-SUF of Sunstate, and Short 360-300 N136LR which was the former VH-SUL of Sunstate.

A major highlight for me at Oshkosh this year was the arrival of Grumman Mallard NC2950 which is the former VH-TGA of Trans Australia Airlines.

PAC 750XL ZK-KAR of Pacific Aerospace was on the New Zealand stand at Oshkosh and it also gave an excellent handling display during the show.

Gippsland Aeronautics had GA8-TC 320 VH-EPR and GA8-TC 320 N267MA on display on its stand.

DC-3 N1XP Duggie, which flew in Australia during WW2 with the US 5th Air Force and used the callsigns VHCDR and VHCFV, was at Oshkosh as was DC-3 N33VW which was once VH-BHC with Silver City Airways of Broken Hill.

Parked on the Air Cargo Carriers ramp at Milwaukee on July 28 was Short 360-300 N376AC which was the former VH-MJU of Hazelton Airlines.

Cessna 208B VH-XDU, which was waiting delivery to West Wing Aviation, was at Mena, Arkansas on August 7, while in storage was Jetstream 41 N153KM still carried the titles of Origin Pacific with which it operated as ZK-JSN.

T-6 N101NZ (ex RNZAF NZ1079) was hangared with the Vintage Flying Museum at Forth Worth/Meacham Field when I visited on August 9.

By August 13 I was in Tucson and noted parked at the rear of the restoration hangar at the Pima Air Museum was Convair C-131F 141025 which was recently registered to HARS as VH-EAQ. Noted in the storage area at Pima was the fuselage of PBY N68756 which is painted as RAAF A24-387 NB-N.

Finally, noted stored at Goodyear, Arizona on August 13 were ex Air New Zealand 747-419s ZK-NBT and ZK-NBU.
