ATC towers leap forward with INTAS

Airservices has recently commissioned its first control tower, at Broome, fitted with Integrated Tower Automation Suite (INTAS) technology.

This technology consolidates operational information and systems currently provided by numerous computer screens throughout each control tower. Importantly it enables the control tower to be an integrated part of an aviation information management system, linking it with control centres and potentially other users external to Airservices.
