Spartan selection scrutiny
The Australian National Audit Office has confirmed it will audit the decision behind the Department of Defence’s acquisition of the Alenia C-27J Spartan through the US Foreign Military Sales program.
The platform was announced by Minister Stephen Smith as the replacement for the retired Caribou under the AIR 8000 Phase 2.
