Wedgetail matures with final delivery
The RAAF finally has its full complement of six Boeing E-7 Wedgetail AEW&C aircraft with the May delivery of the final aircraft to 2SQN at Williamtown.
The aircraft is the first to be loaded with the latest software ‘drop’ which should allow the aircraft to achieve its long-awaited initial operating capability (IOC) by the end of this year.
