Metal was found in the engine’s scavenge filter, which means the engine needs to be removed for inspection. In addition, a problem has been found with the undercarriage and a crack was discovered in the doubler plate of the left lower mainplane spar. It is understood that as a result of the mechanical problems an order has been issued that all maintenance on the aircraft is to cease until further notice. (Les Bushell)
