Ipad troubles
The iPad is here to stay! Since its introduction to the aviation community some 18 months ago it has had a faster acceptance rate than portable GPS units.
For the aviator there are some fantastic applications (apps) to use to make flying easier and cheaper. It is also a great device in the flight instructing field. One can check the weather, look up an airfield, check the weather radar, log a flight plan, show the student what a navigation feature looks like from the air, check the student’s flight plan calculations and use it on cross country navigation with the GPS.
