Just months on from its 90th birthday, the Royal Australian Air Force is amidst a period of key change.

It’s fighter force is undergoing a critical phase of renewal, it’s airlift fleet is being regenerated, and new surveillance and training platforms are on the way, all at a time of continuing operations in the Middle East, of significant cultural change to sustainment practices under the Strategic Reform Program, and with its basing under study thanks to Defence’s Force Posture Review.
