Established operators took delivery of a further five new aircraft, with AVWest Aircraft adding Global Express VH-ZZH to join Global Express VH-ZXH; China Southern West Australian Flying College Phenom 100 VH-FJP to join Citation II VH-ZLE and Citation Bravo VH-ZLT; Execujet Australia Global Express VH-ICV to join Global Express VH-OCV; Fallbrook of Welshpool, WA, Challenger 850 VH-VMX to join Challenger 601-1A VH-MXK; and Pratt Aviation of Melbourne Global Express VH-VDX to join Global Express VH-VGX and Citation Ultra N860CR.

Seven bizjets were imported as replacement aircraft, these being by the Singapore Flying College at Marcoola, Queensland, which added Citation Mustangs VH‑SQY, VH‑SQJ and VH‑VSQ as replacements for Learjet 45s, while Shazo Holdings of Brisbane added Learjet 60 VH-SBU to replace its Citation III VHSBU; Gandel Investments at Essendon Global Express VH-TGG to replace Global Express VH‑TGQ; Kefford Corporation Gulfstream IV N810LP to replace Gulfstream IV N127DK; and Maxem Aviation Citation Encore VH‑MXD to replace Citation Ultra VH‑MXJ.

Deliveries

Even with global financial uncertainty, the momentum of bizjet deliveries to our region was maintained in the period under review with 24 arrivals.

This compares with bizjet deliveries from 2006 to 2010 which were 18, 33, 24, 14 and 29 respectively.

Phenom 100 VH-PNM, which was registered to Don Equis P/L of West Melbourne, Victoria, on November 8 ’10, was delivered to Melbourne/ Essendon on December 18 ’10.

Citation Mustang VH‑SQY, which was registered to the Singapore Flying College of Marcoola, Queensland, on November 12 ’10, was delivered to the Sunshine Coast on November 24.

Citation Encore VH-MXD, which was registered on September 30 ’11 to the Westpac Banking Corporation of Concord West, NSW, had earlier been delivered to Perth as N807CE on November 18 ’10.

Citation Mustang VH-SQJ, which was registered to the Singapore Flying College of Marcoola, Queensland, on December 2 ’10, was delivered to the Sunshine Coast on December 14.

Citation S/II VH-JLU, which was registered to Machjet of Cooroy, Queensland, on December 17 ’10, was delivered to the Sunshine Coast on January 16.

Global Express VH-TGG was registered to Gandel Investments of Essendon, Victoria, on December 21 ’10 and was delivered to Essendon on January 16.

Citation Mustang VH‑VSQ, which was registered to the Singapore Flying College of Marcoola, Queensland, on January 20, was delivered to Maroochydore on February 2.

Global Express VH-FMG, which was registered to FMG of East Perth on February 1, had been operating on loan to AVWest as N900LF since May 13 ’10, but it was not included on last year’s listing.

Learjet 60 VH-SBU, which was registered to Shazo Holdings P/L of Brisbane on May 9, had earlier been delivered to the Gold Coast as N355AP on February 3.

Challenger 604 VH-URR, which was registered to SCAviation of Osborne Park, WA, on February 16, was delivered to Perth as N350ES on February 14.

Global Express VH-ZZH, which was registered to AVWest Aircraft of Cottesloe, WA, on March 28, was delivered to Perth on April 25.

Challenger 604 VH-EVJ, which was registered to Tower Holdings of Mascot, NSW, on April 4, was delivered to Sydney on April 8.

Falcon 50 VH-FOL, which was registered to Falcon Operations of Brisbane on May 20, had earlier been delivered to Brisbane as N343PM on April 5.

Challenger 850 VH-VMX was registered to Fallbrook P/L of Welshpool, WA, on May 2 and was delivered to Perth on August 16.

Falcon 900EX VH-MQK, which was registered to MK Air of Newcastle, NSW, on May 12, was delivered to Bankstown on May 26.

Gulfstream IV N810LP was delivered to Kefford Corporation at Essendon on July 19.

Global Express VH-ICV, which was registered to Bank of America, National Association of Sydney, NSW, on July 30, had still not been delivered as of October 31.

Global Express VH-VDX, which was registered to AVWest Aircraft of Cottesloe, WA, on August 8, was later delivered to Pratt Aviation at Essendon on September 16.

Hawker 800XP VH-VLI, which was registered to J Nicolis P/L of Toorak, Victoria, on August 17, was delivered to Essendon on August 24.

Phenom 100 VH-FJP was registered to China Southern West Australian Flying College of Willetton, WA, on September 7, but it still had not been delivered by October 31.

CitationJet CJ2 VH-ZGP, which was registered to Avesco of Mackay North, Queensland, on September 9, was delivered to Bankstown on September 13.

Citation II VH-VDF, which was registered to Jetstream Aviation of Brisbane on October 17, was delivered to Essendon on October 26.

Challenger 600 VH-JPQ was registered to Norseman Air of Brisbane on October 18.

Premier 1 N3205W was delivered to EWG Aircraft of Toowoomba at Archerfield on October 28.

Departures

Even with global financial uncertainty, the momentum of bizjet deliveries to our region was maintained in the period under review with 24 arrivals.

In the period under review 10 bizjets were removed from our listing as being sold overseas or removed from the register. Departure numbers for the five year period 2006 through 2010 were four, seven, eight, five and eight.

Hawker 850XP VH-TNX of Tinkler Group Aviation departed Brisbane on January 1.

The aircraft was later cancelled from the Australian register on January 28 on its sale to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation of Savannah, Georgia, as N85NX.

Citation X VH-TEN of Balmoral Air of Artarmon, NSW, was cancelled from the register on January 12 and on January 15, now registered N546MD, it departed Sydney for the United States. The Citation X had earlier been replaced by Falcon 2000EX VH-WIO.

Gulfstream IV N127DK of Kefford Corporation, which was damaged in a ground accident at Papeete on January 30, was later replaced by Gulfstream IV N810LP.

Citation III VH-SBU of Shazo Holdings, which had been in the US since July ’08, was cancelled from the register on April 12 and the following day was registered N353HA to Cloudscape Inc of Roswell, New Mexico. The aircraft was replaced by Learjet 60 VH-SBU, which was delivered to Australia as N355AP on February 3.

Global Express VH-TGQ of Gandel Investments was cancelled from register on May 3 and the following day was registered N777GZ before departing Essendon for Hong Kong on May 10. It was replaced by Global Express VH-TGG which was delivered to Essendon on January 16.

Gulfstream IV VH-OSW of Garuda Aviation was cancelled from the register on May 17 and on May 18 was registered N950LG to the Wilmington Trust Company of Wilmington, Delaware. It departed Sydney for the United States on May 23.

Citation Ultra ZK-AWK of Airwork Flight Operations departed Auckland for the US on June 3 and was cancelled from the New Zealand register on June 17. It was later registered to Cessna Aircraft as N396VP on August 16. Learjet 60 VH-EXJ of Exujet Australia was cancelled from the register on August 2 and on August 4 was registered N60SE to Jackson LLC of Boston. It departed Sydney on August 27 for the US.

Global Express VH-ZZH of AVWest, which was delivered to Perth on April 25, departed the country on August 22 and was later cancelled from the register on September 20 when sold in the United States as N877AB.

Falcon 10 VH-WJW, which had been parked at Cairns for some months, was cancelled from the register on September 1 as ‘sold as unregistered aircraft’.
