Victoria Police Air wing
It’s been seven years since Australian Aviation last visited the Victorian Police Air wing’s base at Melbourne’s Essendon Airport.
Back then, the unit, and its chief service provider CHC Helicopters, occupied a drafty hangar, operating a single, VFR limited Aerospatiale Squirrel and a mixed fl eet of ageing Charlie model Aerospatiale Dauphins.
