Airbus and Boeing take centre court at Paris in June
While the headlines for June’s 49th Paris Airshow were dominated by record breaking orders for the A320neo, just as fascinating were the strategic announcements from both Boeing and Airbus executives that will shape the direction of both aerospace giants into the next decade.
Airbus both improved and delayed the largest and smallest A350 models by up to two years while Boeing made it quite clear it would opt for an all new replacement for the venerable 737 and would move ahead with the 787-10.
