Improving the passenger experience and airport efficiency

While years of cost cutting and streamlining have left Qantas open to criticism that it is no longer a leading carrier, the release of its multimillion dollar ‘Airport of the Future’ concept looks set to change some of that.

Released during a luncheon of the National Aviation Press Club on November 11, Qantas CEO Alan Joyce said that the new airport concept would change the way Australians travel domestically, particularly helping to speed up the time taken to complete check in at the airport.
