Warbirds
Warbirds At Jamestown
Jamestown, South Australia, on the weekend of October 17/18, was the scene for an air spectacular and fly-in that attracted many warbird and classic aircraft.
Paul Daw reports that the event attracted interstate warbirds including Judy Pay’s Curtiss P-40F Warhawk VH-HWK as well as Mustang VH-JUC, T-28 Trojan VH-NAW and T-56 Harvard VH-NZH. The Warhawk is a unique machine in that it is the only P-40 in the world flying with a Merlin engine.
