That’s how we want to operate. ” CASA’s new CEO and Director of Aviation Safety, John McCormick, is rapidly showing himself to be a straight talker who may well have the necessary force of character needed to steer the sometimes troubled and often criticised aviation safety regulator. Certainly, many in the aviation industry have been encouraged by McCormick’s early days and seem willing to give him time to prove himself in the role.
