Low aircraft Vs high rise.
Moves by local and state governments to push ultra high density living over open space growth are threatening some airport operations. The main spin-off is a vast number of people crammed in close to airports under flight paths – those being potential noise complainants/curfew spawners – and massive high rises protruding into flight paths, including some in some critical lower levels.
With many skyscraper projects now on ice – or broke- airports, air traffic control providers and operators should unite to fight for curfew free operations where extant, and preservation of critical low level flight paths which must be preserved.
