United stakes its Australian territory

United Airlines recently introduced a raft of cabin product updates across its fleet as it strives to combat the threat of new competitors such as V Australia and Delta, and new products like Qantas’s A380 and enhanced versions of the super efficient 777 on its blue ribband Pacific routes.

But rather than backing away from the market, apart from the cabin updates, the airline is also focussing on the long haul by maintaining and building better relationships with its frequent flyers and agents.
