South Australia’s regional airline
Expanding South Australian operator Air South calls itself “Adelaide’s largest air charter company’’.
The boast is based on the local ownership of the aviation group rather than the breadth of its operations or the capacity of its aircraft. Rivals such as Alliance, with five Fokker 50s based at Adelaide Airport, is Queensland based, and what was until recently called National Jet, Cobham Aviation Services Australia, has a British parent, Cobham plc.
