Ambitious SkyAirWorld wound up

Former Embraer E-Jet operator SkyAirWorld (SAW) became the latest airline to disappear into the sky after it fell into administration on March 13, only a few weeks after announcing that it was ‘pausing’ to restructure.

Sources attending the first creditor’s meeting on March 25 told Australian Aviation that the company owes up to $70-80 million, including $10 million owed to former CEO David Charlton, as well as larger sums owed to his family members who had invested and provided loans to the company.
