Up close and personal
Think back to your first instructor. What was it that you will always remember about him or her? Was it the grubby flight jacket? Maybe it was the polished shoes or the never ironed trousers? What about the bad breath or body odour? Almost every instructor has a little something about them, other than instructional skills, which the student remembers.
For me it was the way my first instructor always wore a grey sports coat and the cut of his hair. First impressions are often long lasting and can often make or break a student/ instructor relationship.
