New types delivered to operators in our region were a Learjet 60XR to the Talbot Group in Brisbane; a Citation CJ3+ to Celijet Aviation Solutions in Leeton, NSW; an Eclipse 500 to Wanless Environmental Services of Coopers Plains, Queensland; and a Hawker 900XP to Remorex in Perth.

Aircraft imported by operators who appear in our directory for the first time were: Acernus Aero of Wellington with Citation Mustang ZK‑MUS; Air Affairs Australia of Nowra with Learjet 35A N49BE; Fallbrook P/L of West Perth with Challenger 601-1A VH-MXK; Getjets P/L of Palm Beach, Queensland, with Citation Mustang VH-NEQ; Hardie Holdings P/L, of Sydney with Citation CJ1+ VH-LDH; Mahaya Aviation of Melbourne with Gulfstream IV/SP VH-DBT; Marloss Aviation of Toorak, Victoria with Citation II/SP VH-JMM; Talbot Group of Brisbane with Learjet 60XR VH-THG; Tatary P/L of Belmont, WA with Hawker 900XP VH-NKD; Tinkler Group of Brisbane with Hawker 850XP N189TA; and Wanless Environmental Services of Coopers Plains, Queensland, with Eclipse 500 N580WC.

Of the 24 aircraft imported, seven replaced aircraft previously operated, these being: Global XRS N57LE for Rank Services in Auckland to replace 737-74U/BBJ N66ZB; Global XRS N888GX for Remorex in Perth to replace Falcon 900B VH‑ACE; Citation II VH-CFO for Shazo Holdings in Brisbane to replace Citation III VH-SBU; Citation Bravo VH‑CCJ for CCJ P/L of Ascot, Queensland to replace Mustang VH-CCJ; Citation VII VH-LYM for Lynden Aviation in Winnellie, NT to replace Premier N34GN; Hawker 800XP VH-ZUH for AvWest, Perth to replace Westwind II VH-ZYH; and Hawker 800XP N805M for Network Jets in Auckland to replace Falcon 2000EX N185G.

Established operators added a further five new aircraft with Revesco Aviation in Perth taking delivery of Challenger 600 VH-ZSU to join Citation II VH-INT; Celijet Aviation Solutions of Leeton, NSW, Citation CJ3+ VH-ANE to join CJ1 VH-YNE; Mount Craigie Holdings of Rosebud West, Victoria, Citation X VH-XCJ to join Citation Excel VH‑XCU; Remorex of West Perth Hawker 900XP VH‑ACE to join Global Express/ XRS N888GX; and Mineralogy of Brisbane MD‑82 VP‑CBI to join MD‑82 VP‑CBH.

Changes of ownership in the resident fleet produced three new operators these being: Shane Yeend of Kent Town, SA, with Beechjet 400A VH-BZL; Flight Options (Australia) P/L of Mudjimba, Queensland, with Citation III VH-SPJ and RHCB P/L of Milson’s Point, NSW, with Hawker 800XP VH-KEF.

Deliveries

The 24 deliveries compares to the 33 aircraft delivered in the previous 12 months. Annual bizjet deliveries 2003 to 2007 were 20, 11, 14, 18 and 33.

Deliveries for the period 01/11/07 to 31/10/08 were as follows: Citation Mustang VH‑NEQ which was registered to Getjets P/L of Palm Beach, Queensland, on November 7 ’07 was delivered to Maroochydore as N45SP on November 2 ‘07. Citation Bravo VH-CCJ, which was registered to CCJ P/L of Ascot, Queensland, on April 4 was delivered to Aeromil Pacific in Maroochydore as N550WG on November 24 ‘07.

Gulfstream IV/SP VH‑DBT, which was registered to Mahaya Aviation of Melbourne on December 19 ’07, was delivered to Melbourne/Essendon on January 21.

Citation Mustang ZK‑MUS was registered to Acernus Aero Ltd of Wellington on May 29 and had earlier been delivered to Aeromil Pacific at Maroochydore as N1749L on January 4.

Hawker 800XP VH-ZUH was registered to AvWest of Cottesloe, WA on January 21 and was delivered to Perth on January 29.

Learjet 35A N49BE was delivered to Air Affairs Australia at Nowra, NSW, on March 11.

Global XRS N888GX was delivered to Remorex P/L at Sydney on March 25.

Hawker 800XP N805M was delivered to Network Jets in Auckland on March 25.

Citation VII VH-LYM was registered to Lynden Aviation of Winnellie, NT on April 17 and was delivered to Darwin on April 25.

Global XRS N57LE was delivered to Rank Services in Auckland on May 19.

Hawker 900XP VH‑ACE of Remorex P/L was delivered to Sydney on May 22.

Citation CJ1+ VH-LDH was registered to Hardie Holdings P/L of Sydney on May 26 before being delivered to Sydney/Bankstown on July 14.

Citation CJ3+ VH‑ANE was registered to Celijet Aviation Solutions of Leeton, NSW, on June 17 before being delivered to Narrandera, NSW, on June 25.

Challenger 600 VH-ZSU was registered to Revesco Aviation of Perth on June 24 and was delivered to Perth on July 16.

Eclipse 500 N580WC was delivered to Wanless Environmental Services of Coopers Plains, Queensland, at Brisbane/ Archerfield on June 30.

MDC MD-82 VP-CBI was delivered to Mineralogy in Brisbane on July 11.

Challenger 601/1A VH‑MXK was registered to Maxem Aviation of Mount Hawthorn, WA, on July 14 and was delivered to Perth on August 24.

Learjet 45 N45AU was delivered to AGG Learjet P/L of Helensvale, Queensland, at Coolangatta on July 24.

Citation II/SP VH-JMM was registered to Marloss Aviation of Toorak, Victoria, on July 28 and was delivered to Melbourne/Essendon on August 16.

Citation II VH-CFO was registered to Shazo Holdings of Brisbane on August 5 after being delivered to Sydney/Bankstown as N699GS on July 29.

Hawker 850XP N189TA was delivered to the Tinkler Group in Brisbane on August 3.

Hawker 900XP VH-NKD was registered to Tatary P/L of Belmont, WA, on September 17 and was delivered to Perth on September 22.

Learjet 60 VH-THG was registered to Talbot Group Administration of Coorparoo, Queensland, on September 29 and was delivered to Brisbane on October 9.

Citation X VH-XCJ was registered to Mount Craigie Holdings P/L of Rosebud West, Victoria, on September 24 and was delivered to Melbourne on October 14.

Departures

In the review period eight bizjets departed our region, compared with departures for the five-year period 2003-2007 of 13, six, seven, four and seven.

Citaton Excel N60AG operated by the Arrowcrest Group of Adelaide was sold to Atlanta Jet of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and on November 3 ’07 departed Sydney/Bankstown on ferry to the United States.

Cessna 500 VH-HVH which was registered to Westpac Banking of Concord West, NSW, was cancelled from the register on November 8 ’07 on its sale to Dove Air Inc of Fletcher, North Carolina, as N501DA. However, it was April 3 before the aircraft ferried out of Sydney/Bankstown.

Hawker 800XP VH-SCY, registered to the State of Queensland, was cancelled from the register on November 15 ’07 on its sale to Empire Aircraft Sales of Sharjah to become A6-MAH.

Falcon 900B VH-ACE, which was owned by Remorex P/L of West Perth, was cancelled from the register on January 29 on its sale in the United States as N394WJ. Challenger 604 N604AU operated by AGG Learjet of Helensvale, Queensland, departed Brisbane on February 29 on its return to the United States.

Rank Services BBJ N66ZB departed its Auckland base on May 12 on its return to the United States.

Challenger 604 VH-OCV, owned by Nelson Corporate Aviation, departed Sydney on June 15 on its sale in Bulgaria as LZ-YUR.

Citation Excel VH-NGH, owned by Flight Options (Australia) P/L of Mudjimba, Queensland, departed Sydney/ Bankstown on August 27 on its sale to LuxCitation as LX-INS.

Citation III VH-SBU is registered to Shazo Holdings of Brisbane and is still included on our list of current aircraft.

However, it departed Sydney/ Bankstown on July 5 on ferry to the United States where it currently awaits sale.

Mineralogy MD-82 VP‑CBH was omitted from last year’s listing, but was delivered to Coolangatta on September 14 ’07 as N750AG before changing its registration to VP-CBH the following month.
