Gulfstream’s long range 650

Rumours of an all new corporate aircraft from Gulfstream had abounded for at least 12 months before the Savannah based company finally announced its Gulfstream 650 on March 13 this year.

The aircraft is a clean sheet design for a new niche in the corporate jet market between the company’s own top of the range G550 (and Bombardier’s Global XRS), and the Boeing Business Jet/Airbus Corporate Jetliner modified airliner market.
