Bringing Home Belle-issimo Blue
Some people in the airline business quite disparagingly call Virgin Blue’s new Embraer 170s and 190s The Jungle Jets – a studied insult which implies that only Boeing and Airbus can build airliners. A little below the belt and even further from reality.
Embraer is a Brazilian success story like the bossa nova, churrasco and The Girl From Ipanema.
