Heading for industrial turbulence?

The spectacular profits of Qantas and Virgin Blue for the 2006-07 year are certain to raise the ire of unions, who for the large part have conceded conditions and wages that have helped deliver the solid results.

Already there are serious rumblings by engineers, flight attendants and pilots working for Qantas and National Jet Systems with threats of industrial action.
