Victoria Police Air Wing evacuates Gippsland flood victims

The flood that devas-tated eastern Victoria in June this year was the worst in the region’s history and the Victoria Police Air Wing was at the forefront, rescu-ing dozens of stranded families from the rising waters.

In just one afternoon the Air Wing winched seven people and airlifted 50 others from the towns of Newry and Tinamba.
