Civil Aircraft Register Update
Register Review
Helicopters and single-engined, fixed-wing imports make up the majority of the New Allocations this issue with a sprinkling of locally built machines, jets, a warbird, and a balloon.
Of the helicopters, EXZ is another new Sikorsky S-76C for Esso at East Sale in Victoria while OCC is the second Schweizer 300CB to be registered locally. The 300CB is a very basic 300C designed to compete with the Robinson R22 Beta both in price and reliability. The first 300CB in this part of the world was delivered to A and L Developments of Hampton Park, Victoria during March whilst OCC arrived at the Professional Helicopter Services base at Moorabbin the following month. Flightline Aviation, the local agents for the type, has also placed a demonstration model in New Zealand appropriately registered ZK-ICB (refer page 80 June ’96 AA).
