Airlink Bae 146-200 Enters Service
Australian Airlink changed its operating name to Airlink with the delivery and entry into service on September 3 of its first Bae 146-200. Airlink has leased the three aircraft, Vh-Njg, Vh-Njh and Vh-Njj, from National Jet Systems in Adelaide who in turn have leased the aircraft from Trident Aviation Leasing Services (Jersey) in the Uk. Bae 146-200s Vh-Njg, Vh-Njh and Vh-Njj commenced their ferry flight to Australia from Cambridge Airport in the Uk on August 27. All three aircraft entered service with Airlink on September 3 with Vh-Njg operating Qf673 from Mackay to Brisbane, Vh-Njh Qf672 from Canberra to Brisbane and Vh-Njj Qf661 from Rockhampton to Brisbane.
