(left) Airlines of Tasmania has begun services to the Victorian region of Gippsland with six weekly services to Sale. The flights operate via Flinders Island in the Bass Strait, while through connections are available to Albury and Sydney with Hazelton.

Air Swift added Karumba and Normanton to its route network from April 6 with three return services weekly operated from Cairns on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Airlines of Tasmania added Latrobe Valley to its network from early May with five return services being operated weekly, Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun, with the Launceston to Flinders Island service being extended through to Latrobe Valley/Sale.
