Qantas Revises Frequent Flyer:
Qantas has changed its frequent flyer (FF) program to give members free travel for themselves and members of their families instead of offering free goods.
Membership of the program is currently 35,000, each paying a $95 joining fee, of which $50 is also paid as a form of commission to anyone introducing a new member. Like all frequent flyer schemes, points are awarded for distance flown with bonuses for business and first class travellers. It could be worthwhile for even the occasional traveler, as an economy round trip to London earns sufficient points to qualify for a free return trip to Noumea from Sydney.
