Australian Aerospace Industry Joins Boeing 7j7 Programme:
Boeing and Hawker de Havilland have signed a Memorandum of Understanding making the Australian aerospace industry a programme associate on the advanced technology Boeing 7J7 airliner.
The agreement envisions Hawker de Havil- land assuming 2 to 4 per cent of the work on the 7J7 as the lead contractor on behalf of the Australian aerospace industry. This will include participation in current development work in which many advanced technologies are being studied and tested for use in the programme.
