The case for sensible use of mogas in aircraft engines is gathering pace. . .

In our last issue, we put the Transport Australia case in some detail, weighed it against reports of actual flights using mogas in both Australia and Britain, and came out with the cautious view that mogas could be an advantage in many cases of operation.

Monetary considerations appeared to take second place to the availability of avgas in many countries. That, plus the apparently proven fact that lead fouling is less significant when using mogas.
