General Aviation has been tested by the energy crisis and it has emerged as a thriving national workhorse.

Australia, and in fact the whole world, is finding more and more uses for general aviation aircraft. There is no way that general aviation will ever replace the airlines as the national air transport system, but as an instrument of speed its benefits are well known.

The sooner both the public and the operators realise that the general aviation aircraft take over where the airlines leave off, the earlier we will be able to demonstrate that “our kind of transportation” is an energy conserver.
