Fiji Airways has announced new economy and business class menu offerings, and a rollout of additional passenger cabin enhancements.

The airline announced the new catering concepts as part of a wider suite of changes which include new inflight entertainment, inflight duty free and inflight magazine, to be rolled out in stages.

“As we continue to make headway towards our goal of becoming a leading global boutique airline, addressing our inflight experience, especially the catering, has been a key priority,” Fiji Airways’ managing director and CEO Stefan Pichler, said. “It has taken a few months of consolidating feedback from our valuable guests, benchmarking and testing to get here, and we’re delighted to roll out these great changes now.”

The new economy class menu has been introduced immediately on all international flights for Fiji Airways and its subsidiary Fiji Link, while the business class ‘Signature Dish’ has been inspired by Fiji-based Chef, Lance Seeto who is Executive Chef of Castaway Island Resort. Members of the Fiji Chefs Association have also been invited to work with the airline on future menu cycles to ensure that the food served onboard is Fijian inspired.

I hope this new menu also includes the NZ sector as we get a bread roll with asmall bit of processed meat. And we still pay the full fare.
