Australian Aviation has moved, but our new office is smaller and lacks the storage space of our old premises. As a consequence we are holding a ‘garage sale’ style clearance of all our aviation books, prints and models that we can’t take with us to our new office.
So on Saturday June 29, come along to our old Fyshwick, Canberra office, where we will have on sale a wide selection of new and second hand aviation books, including a limited selection of out of print Aerospace Publications books like the ‘In Australian Service’ and ‘Air Disaster’ series, back copies of Australian Aviation, other aviation magazines, framed aviation prints and posters, and a range of collectable aircraft display models, all at clearance prices.

Justan
says:Cant purchase anything via online?
I dont live in canberra!
australianaviation.com.au
says:@Justan – unfortunately we don’t have the resources to list what must be 100s of individual books and other items on our website, but we do hope to have a stock inventory available next week, which we will post on our site, and from which you could order over the phone.
Andrew Larmour
says:Can I suggest donating to one of the items to an aviation museum? I donated my collection of older AA (and AADRs including all of the (very early) quarterly AADRs) to the Museum at Essendon Airport. Obviously, there are closer museums to Canberra, and I am not suggesting that you send items down to Essendon airport – I’m sure there are closer ones that would appreciate the contributions.
Jamie
says:That would be great to have an inventory online! I am interstate.
Andrew Larmour
says:hmmm – bit of a type on my last post – it should have read “Can I suggest donating some items to an aviation museum? …”
BANKS
says:What models do you have?
adammudhen
says:Ooh, sounds interesting! If you can do an inventory, that would be great for us “out of towners”.
sparky
says:Like wise love to know what models you have but don’t live in CBR
Craig Saxon
says:I’ll be there, yay. love a good book sale and I am in Flynn.
peter robinson
says:I’m 350 kms out of town too!
Give loyal readers in the bush a go at the goodies too.
I’m sure Manuka has a better range of coffee shops than Fyshwyck !
Maurice Dee
says:600 kms – each way is too far for this aged ex-aviator but will look forward to the publishing of an inventory
Tony.G
says:Hi AA
Any chance of letting me know how many models you have? I’d drive down from sydney if there was a few for sale. If you could send a copy of the models you have that will be very much appreciated. Thanks AA.

Gary G
says:Where do we get the on line inventory especially the models (sounds like there will be some competition)?
Steve Riley
says:Road trip !! Or CX NAV 😉
australianaviation.com.au
says:More details on our garage sale, including a book listing, available here
Gary G
says:Given the apparent demand for models (and prints?) is there the possibility of an auction at, say, 11am (gentlepeople start your fingers).
