Qantas has announced it will restart its scenic 12-hour flights from Australia to Antarctica and back, giving Australians a unique opportunity to view the frozen continent from above. The new comments come after Qantas decided to take on Rex for the popular service, which Rex branded “anti-competitive” behaviour.
Rex has lashed out at Qantas and called for government intervention, following its announcement of a new “commercially unsustainable” Sydney-Orange route.
Australian Aviation investigates hundreds of complaints from Qantas customers angry over their inability to get refunds or information.
The commission will now look for “early signs of damage” that could “damage a competitor or drive them off route”.
