A Ppl’s Introduction To Light Sport Aircraft Sizing Up The Differences

My first few hands-on experiences with a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) were in one of the Aeropro Eurofoxes, powered by a Rotax 912 engine which develops about 100 hp (75kW). When compared to the typical 180 hp (134kW) from a Cessna 172, my initial reaction was to think ‘sluggish’.
