Less than eight one hundredths of a second has separated the top three finishers at the sixth round of the 2018 Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Austria as Australia’s Matt Hall finished third in one of the closest ever races for victory. 

Matt Hall has come home fifth in qualifying for round six of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, on a day where reigning world champion Yoshihide Muroya of Japan was the man to beat.

With everything to play for, this weekend’s sixth round of the Red Bull Air Race could prove to be pivotal in determining who might stand atop the ladder come season’s end.
